RULES

---These are very simple rules that everyone should take a moment to read. If you do not read the rules, we will be aware and you will not be added. We want things to operate smoothly, and with your help and cooperation, things will be as such.---

1.) Be active with your journal if you expect to be added.

2.) Be active within the community. Even if you don't take something, comment to let us know that you're alive.

3.) Add us first to avoid the annoyance of having somebody ask to be added, only to not add back.

4.) To be added, comment in the public friends only entry. When asking to be added, put "Up the creek without a paddle" in the subject line of your entry.

5.) Requests are not open at all times. Under absolutely NO circumstances are you to come to our personal journals and make requests there. When requests are being taken, PROVIDE THE PICTURE that you want used and be as specific as possible.

6.) Always comment with what you are taking. Be specific; do not just say, "Taking a bunch."

7.) You must credit UpTheCreek in your keywords. If you do not know how to add keywords, consult the LiveJournal FAQ (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=95).

8.) Keep our graphics on LJ unless you have been granted permission to use them elsewhere.

9.) Do not redistribute our graphics to others.

10.) Do not, under any circumstances, alter our graphics. If there is something you want changed, simply ask and we will try our best to do it for you.

11.) If any of these rules are broken, you will be given one warning. If the problem is not rectified immediately or if the problem continues, you will be removed from the friends list and will not be added back.

Both of us are busy sometimes, but we will do our best to update as frequently as possible. Bugging us about updating won't motivate us to update sooner; instead, it will probably just make us angry and make us want to put off making a new batch of icons for as long as possible.

Promoting us to friends and other communities is very much appreciated. If your promotion of our journal brings new members, and they say that you sent them, we will fill one icon request for you.

If you have any problems with how this journal is being run, do not bring it up in the journal through comments. Rather, e-mail us at upthecreekicons@yahoo.com and we will take your concerns into consideration.
